Southern-most in Longyear Valley, at the foot of the Longyear- and the Lars glacier, lies Nybyen where we offer accommodation at reasonable rates in the living quarters that once housed the coal miners of Longyearbyen. Today Spitsbergen Guesthouse consists of three "living quarters". The converted living quarters offer a total of 136 beds in single, double and triple rooms. The guesthouses contain a good number of bathrooms with showers and toilets in the corridors just a few paces from your room. The guesthouses also have common TV-rooms, kitchen and laundry rooms.
