Germany Hotels and Resorts - As Europe's largest economy and most populous nation, Germany remains a key member of the continent's economic, political, and defense organizations. European power struggles immersed Germany in two devastating World Wars in the first half of the 20th century and left the country occupied by the victorious Allied powers of the US, UK, France, and the Soviet Union in 1945. With the advent of the Cold War, two German states were formed in 1949: the western Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) and the eastern German Democratic Republic (GDR). The democratic FRG embedded itself in key Western economic and security organizations, the EC, which became the EU, and NATO, while the Communist GDR was on the front line of the Soviet-led Warsaw Pact. The decline of the USSR and the end of the Cold War allowed for German unification in 1990. Since then, Germany has expended considerable funds to bring Eastern productivity and wages up to Western standards. In January 1999, Germany and 10 other EU countries introduced a common European exchange currency, the euro.

ACCOMMODATION: Our comfortable single and double rooms are equipped with telephone, colour TV, pay-TV, radio and minibar. All rooms are cheerfully furnished and provide a homey atmoshere. We want to make sure you’ll have pleasant memories of your stay with us. Our spacious and luxurious junior and business suites are located on the 13th through 16th floors high above the city, providing a breathtaking view of Berlin’s rooftops. All suites include kitchens which can be equipped to meet the requirements of our long term guests. Business suites have 2 separate rooms. HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES: Our modern conference rooms are air-conditioned, providing natural lighting as they have several windows, the perfect environment for conferences, seminars, sessions, business meetings or receptions. You can choose between eight different conference rooms which can be combined to form larger units. Standard conference equipment including overhead projector, screen and flip chart are provided free of charge with room rental. Our service staff will be glad to provide you with any further details, concerning other available presentation and conference equipment, seating and the furnishings in individual rooms. We offer a variety of conference packages for groups with a minimum of 10 participants. For a refreshing start to your day we pamper you with a rich breakfast buffet in the morning. The breakfast buffet is available for you from 6:30 to 11:00 a.m. From Monday to Friday you can have lunch at the hotel. We offer daily changing, varied business lunches, consisting of 2 main courses and several starters and desserts. For smaller meals you can visit our coffeeshop at any time of the day. For groups we arrange special lunches or dinners in our restaurant. We also have ideal facilities for private celebrations with an individual touch.
