| Hotel Opera is perfectly located in downtown Copenhagen, a few minutes owalk to some of the city centre's main attractions. Hotel Opera dates back to 1869 and was originally run as a pension. The first hotel on the premises opened in the 1950's. It is a charming hotel in “the old-fashioned English style” with a historic atmosphere closely connected with the city's theatre world, in particular The Royal Theatre. |

Hotel Opera is a true hotel of Copenhagen with plenty of charm. The hotel has its own "Wall of Fame" with photos of actors and other artists who, in the course of time, have visited the hotel. Personal attention and professional service are very important factors in relation to guests, and the hotel is run in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.
ACCOMMODATION: Hotel Opera offers 91 cozy and charming rooms and suites. All rooms have telephone, satellite- and cable-TV and private bath/toilet. Additionally there are 9 newly furnished "Opera Rooms" and 10 rooms with taps made of twenty-four-carat gold.
The taps were installed over 30 years ago, when the hotel went through a complete renovation. When the then owner was presented with the bill, he decided to let the rest of the rooms have normal taps! Hotel Opera offers non-smoking rooms as well.
