The following pages are designed to give a bit of information about the Caribbean flair that awaits you at the Mago Estate Hotel. The Mago Estate Hotel is located just above the fishing village of Soufriere on the west coast of the island of Saint Lucia. The island of Saint Lucia is no more than 23 Km wide and 45 Km long, and it is situated between the islands of Martinique and Saint Vincent, close to the northern coast of South America. There are two international airports: Castries in the north, and Vieux Fort in the south. Both are about one hour's drive away. See hotel services for information on travelling around the island.

ACCOMMODATION: Enjoy the tasteful decoration, including antiques, Persian rugs and modern and unique works of art. All the guestrooms have a panoramic view to the Piton Mountain, the town of Soufriere beneath, and to the blue water of the Caribbean. Three of the 6 guest units have four-poster beds. A spacious terrace adjoins most of the rooms. |
HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES: The hotel was designed, built and furnished by the owner who took his inspiration from the colours, materials and shapes found in the culture and lifestyle of the local people, thus respecting the local traditions. To this he has added both antiques and modern furnishings from other cultures.The overall effect combines tropical dark wood furnishings crafted by local artisans, tapestries and sculptures designed by contemporary artists, cushions and sofa covers chosen in respect of chromatic tones and designs, with antique Persian carpets to create a unique, harmonious and comfortable setting.
The lounge area is sumptuously furnished and the volcanic rock formation is a fabulous focal point here, 20 feet high and 60 feet wide!
The fire place is used as a barbecue on given nights where guests can relax under the stars to Mago's resident band, Heritage.
In the top left-hand corner of the photo you can see the tree-house: Built into an enormous Mango tree, its cushioned comfort is the perfect place to relax at anytime.

Reception
The reception is open from 07.00 until 19.00.
Main language of our staff is English; additional languages are German and French. This hotel does not have television or radio. The main telephone line is only available at reception. This hotel is a totally get away from it all experience.
Night-time security is in operation.
Arrival and departure
The international airports at Castries and Vieux Fort are approximately 60 minutes drive away. Depending on guest requirements, the hotel will arrange airport transfers. Car-hire can also be arranged. Fill out the 'Further Comments' section in the reservations form to inform us of your special needs and requirements
Laundry
A maid service is in operation for guest laundry, for which an added charge is made. Guest linen is changed every three days, with towels changed daily.
Medical care
A doctor can be called at anytime. The Soufriere hospital is located downtown 5 minutes away.
