| This lodge is found on Benguerra Island, in the Bazaruto Archipelago. From the 20 luxurious reed chalets, private walkways lead to sandy white beaches. Guests are treated to fine cuisine and a variety of watersports and activities. The islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago are not for those whose idea of a holiday is shopping; there are no shops on Benguerrua, no roads, no vehicles, just crystal white beaches. Marine sightings include endangered species such as the rare dugong. |

ACCOMMODATION: The lodge comprises of 19 individual chalets connected by elevated walkways and each offering en-suite facilities, their own private verandah and a wooden walkway leading down to the beach directly in front of each chalet. Experienced chefs prepare dinners, consisting of a wide array of seafood specialties. The water temperature ranges between 23°C and 26°C. This makes outings of scuba diving and snorkeling combined with a picnic lunch on one of the many beautiful island beach locations very popular. Other activities include ocean-ski paddling, windsurfing, hobiecat sailing and island drives.
